2.Football Sports Terminology

 Header.

• Goal :- The object of the game, scored by putting the ball into the opposing team's net.

• Penalty kick:- A free kick taken from the penalty spot, awarded to the attacking team after a foul inside the penalty area.

• Corner kick :- A free kick taken from the corner of the field, awarded to the attacking team after the ball goes out of play over the goal line, last touched by a defender.

• Throw-in  :-A method of restarting play after the ball has gone out of bounds, where the ball is thrown back into play from the touchline by a player on the team that did not touch the ball last.

• Offside :- A player is deemed offside if they are closer to the opposing team's goal than both the ball and the second-to-last defender, when the ball is played to them.

• Red card :- A card shown by the referee to signal that a player has been sent off the field, usually for a serious foul or misconduct.

• Yellow card :- A card shown by the referee to signal that a player has been cautioned, usually for a less serious offense.

3.Cricket Sports Terminology

• Bouncer :- A type of delivery that is bowled short and aimed at the batsman's head or upper body, with the intention of forcing the batsman to duck or avoid the ball.

• Yorker :- A type of delivery that is bowled full and aimed at the batsman's feet, with the intention of hitting the stumps.

• Reverse swing :-A type of swing bowling that occurs when the ball is bowled with an older ball that has become scuffed and roughened on one side, causing it to swing in the opposite direction to what is expected.

• Inswinger :- A type of swing bowling where the ball swings towards the batsman, moving from the off-side to the leg- side.

• Outswinger :- A type of swing bowling where the ball swings away from the batsman, moving from the leg-side to the off-side.
